Goat Fund Us: Update #2
Hello everyone, tonight I like to share something with you that happened yesterday. It is a matter very close to my heart, as it concerns my favourite goat Sunshine who had already mastered quite a challenge in her life.

Hello everyone, this is our first update on the fundraising campaign and I really would like to use this opportunity to say THANK YOU!!! None of us at the farm had expected to find that much support and generosity in the community as well as from different places all over the world.
The Beacon Hill Children’s Farm is a small local family farm in Victoria, British Columbia. The farm might be small in size but we are proud to provide a loving home to more than a hundred farm animals. Over the past 35 years we were so fortunate to be able to share this amazing experience of living with and caring for these animals with lots of visitors – tourists and locals alike.
Orchid was a very prominent member of our goat herd as for many years she had the position of “herd queen” and as such had great responsibility. She was well loved and very much respected by all.
Peg was a one-of-a-kind goat who had become quite famous and well known to staff, volunteers and visitors alike, and had found a very special place in our hearts. She and her sister Winnie were born here at the farm in 1999 and after growing up Peg had a great time as a mother goat.
Mona – a very “lady like” goat – was always very popular and well liked due to her calming nature and her great smile.
Carly was a very special member of our goat herd. She will be greatly missed and always remembered for a lot of special reasons.
