Goodbye Bronwyn
Bronwyn was a very special old lady goat who has found her way into all our hearts. She was always gentle and kind, strong and dignified, grateful for cuddles, company and treats, and simply great to hang out with.
Goodbyes to the special animals who have left us but remain forever in our hearts.

Time for an update from the animals and the farm. These past two weeks have just been especially busy, unexpected and full. But first I like to welcome many new donors and followers to our fundraising campaign and I’m sending out a big THANK YOU to all of you for supporting us through all this time. It’s been now well over 13 months that the farm has been closed and just more than a year since we’ve started this fundraiser. It feels like quite the journey we all went on together.
Today I have sad news to share about something that already happened in December. But since we anticipated the Holiday season to be an already emotional time that we didn’t want to make any harder with somber news and so we decided to hold off till the new year.
Happy Thanksgiving Weekend to all of you. I hope you have an opportunity to enjoy it safely in good company. Over the past few days our fundraiser was inactive because GoFundMe is changing their internal system and their engineering team was busily working away to transfer all the information of our fundraiser. Since we at the farm are really farmers and animals people our technical abilities are limited and I’m very happy and relieved to say that they fixed everything quickly and the fundraiser is back in working order.
Orchid was a very prominent member of our goat herd as for many years she had the position of “herd queen” and as such had great responsibility. She was well loved and very much respected by all.
Peg was a one-of-a-kind goat who had become quite famous and well known to staff, volunteers and visitors alike, and had found a very special place in our hearts. She and her sister Winnie were born here at the farm in 1999 and after growing up Peg had a great time as a mother goat.
Mona – a very “lady like” goat – was always very popular and well liked due to her calming nature and her great smile.
Carly was a very special member of our goat herd. She will be greatly missed and always remembered for a lot of special reasons.
