About Beacon Hill Children’s Farm

The Beacon Hill Children’s Farm is a small, family-owned and non-profit society-operated farm located in Victoria, British Columbia. We are proud to provide a loving home to over one hundred farm animals, who are treated like family. For more than 40 years, we have shared the amazing experience of living with and caring for these animals with local community visitors and tourists alike. The success of the farm is supported by a strong collaborative team: the Koenders family (owners and operators), the volunteer-based Beacon Hill Farm Society, our dedicated full- and part-time staff members, and a large pool of committed volunteers.

Working at the farm is a huge privilege and a fun experience, but it is also physically demanding, requiring the highest quality of care and attention every day, regardless of the weather. An ability to engage with farm visitors of all ages in a patient, helpful manner during our busy peak season is also key to success in this role.

Local Candidates Only

Only candidates who are currently residing in Victoria, BC, Canada, and hold a valid work permit will be considered. Candidates must be available for an in-person interview.
